temp help

hi guys is it better to have a 400w at a temp of 88f
or a 600w at 94f


i kno the temps are not ideal but there isnt much i can do just wondering wot will giv a better yield the 400 or 600 at the temps they are at

Both at that temp will cause problems. Get temp down or get a 250w hps.

Ideally you want a temp range of 72-78 degrees F when lights are on, I would get a co2 tank and some good inline fans to ventilate the area if you decide to go with a 400 or 600w. otherwise start off with a 150w or 250w. When you grow in those high temps you will get airy buds, heat stress, aka some bad weed. If you can't do much about the temp at all go with some type of skunk strain or any strain the grows well in those types of conditions.

just use the 600 and invest in a decent fan

idk i got a 400w in a 3x3 tent with a non aircooled hood and my temps dont get over 80F ever..its only about 60F outside though

i got a 400w in a 4x2 tent and without it being air cooled it'll get up to 105 in there.

OP add some co2 and those temps would be OK but still high
