im running a 400mh bulb
in a room that is 5'x6' and 8' tall
i got a squeral fan at the bottom of the wall
bringing in fresh air from in the house
then to get air out i got a small 4'' fan
blowing out at the top of the wall.
my temp is staying at about 84f with lights on
and my hummitity is at 44%
is this good or bad enviroment for veg?
if bad what can i do to make it better?
i also have a 12'' fan osculating air around in the room.
as always thanks in advance

sounds alright, generally you want your outtake to be the stonger fan though. alot of people use passive intakes with their high powered fan as the outtake sucking air out(often through a carbon filter to control smell.). if its at 84f you should be fine temp wise but will smell be a security concern? even vegging plants can be stinky as hell once they get going.

thats fine for veggin but like darkdestruction420 mentioned might want to switch directions of fans if the scage fan is bigger

naw smell is not an issue. thanks for the fast response.
this is how it is set up tell me what you think plz...
i have a spare bedroom in my house that i split into 2 grow areas
flower area is closer to the window then the veg area.
i put a regular window fan in the window backwards so it sucks air in.
the rectangle window units that have 2 fans in it.(you kno what im talking about?) lol
then i built a box over the inside of the window.
in that box i got 2 6'' 160 cfm inline fans with ducting.
1 goes into flower room then down the wall to lower part of room.
the other traveles thru the flower room along the celing and into the veg room then down the wall to the lower part of the room.
in each section i have another 160 cfm inline fans with ducting
at the top of the wall bringing air out thru the laundry room that is next to it.
they go back out side thru the dryer vent.

air in to the flower room has bout 4' of ducting
air into veg room has about 10' of ducting
air out of bout rooms back to outside has about 14' of ducting.
my t5 cfls and 400mh have no way to cool them down
thankfully my 600hps has a air cooled hood with 4'' fan sucking air thru the hood over the bulb then outside.

as you can tell i have built a room full of snakes to try to keep it cooled with fresh air lol
ohh yea i also have a 12'' fan osculating air around in each of the room.
again thanks in advance

it sounds like its working well enough. as long as smell isnt a problem like you said and the temps stay good i wouldnt mess with it much.

so that temp is good? will that be good temp in flower aswell?
thanks again man sorry to follow up wit so many questions

Yer that temp is ok for most strains but seems to be at the max so could do with bringing temps down, decent ruck inline ought to do that.

When running at these temps remember that weed also grows pretty much the same at 20 degrees celcius as it dose at 25 degrees celcius, If suspecting heat stress run the box at 5 degrees celcius lower than you are and watch to see if the plant improves, if it dose you were running too hot. Stressed plants really dont take the heat very well either. A strain that runs at 25degrees celcius at max might need lower temps if stressed.

Just my opinion guys, Peace
