About my plant, my first grow

Its bagseed Swazi and I'm growing this one indoor on 24/0 as practice but it would be great if I could keep it alive and healthy until harvest and get a decent yield. I'm hoping this is a female..lol

This is the light im using for it as of today:



I need to know, if im going to be needing a bigger light for the veg stage or even for flowering if I find out its a female? Also aprox. how much longer until i should start flowering or change lighting to 12/12? How often and how much should i be watering this plant? When the top of the soil gets dry? How tall should this plant be before i start thinking about flowering?

looks pretty good........couple burn spots, but overall doing just fine. it looks like the plant is outside, if your leaving it out there, then you don't have to worry about the light schedule, it will flower in the fall. I'd water when the bottom is dry, to make sure you don't over water it.

Thanks! Well I take it outside during the day for a breeze and some real sunlight and then take it indoors again at night and its under a light so I'm keeping it under 24 hour light for vegging but I might put it outside completely for flowering

what kind of soil is that?

Its garden soil, don't quite have the means or budget to go out and get sterilized potting soil.. its all I have at the moment and the plant seems to take well to it so I'm going with it for now

Nice brite color man, looks good!!! Hey!!! If your having doubts about watering or lighting go to a Lowes or Home Depot or any gardening center and get you a water meter. I bought one that checks moisture/PH and light and it was about 8 dollars. Very simple to use, just slide the probes down into your soil and flip the button to Moist. It will show you if the soil is dry/moist/wet, best 8 bucks I have spent on my first grow. I got the info from Widow Makers post, I'll leave ya a link so you can check it out. Its a step by step with pics of the complete process, very very good stuff bro
