This was a plant that started outside and grew to 3 feet. (not counting the pot) It was in the ground. It was gifted to me. I just put it on 12/12. Any ideas how much this one plant might produce or if it looks healthy? I havent grown in a while so all the excitement is coming back. :) I got some new sprouts going too.

she does need a little help.not much foliag on her and a lot of streatching so your not going to see a big yield.

Get a good HPS light and that thing might fill out. What kind of soil do you have it in? Any nutes?

when i got it about 6 days ago it was in a 3 gal pot with sandy dirt straight out of the ground. a friend of mine threw out a hand full of seeds at the beginning of the summer and forgot about them. went to mow his lawn and there it was. lol. so he potted it as is and then i got it. i didnt want to flower it in that same dirt so i transplanted into another 3 gal (because thats all i had) with miracle grow moisture control potting soil that had already been sitting our for a week and half. the root had been ripped on the original transplant so believe it or not it is far from root bound. i thought that the transplant would shock it for a bit because i was putting it in new soil and bringing it indoors it didnt phase it. its been growing about 1/2" everyday.

so on day four of me having it i ran up to home depot and got the best ratio of phosphorus/nitro fert. it is for orchids call bloom booster. 11-35-15 with hope that i could all some meat to the flowering buds.

you should do fine with that ratio. sound like your on the right track. i'll be watching

It will produce bud but not much due to the stretching and lights you have it under. Try getting HPS and you'll be much better off.

i have a 400w hps. i just didnt think it would be worth using on this one plant. vs elec. cost

do you think it would make that much of a difference this late in the plants life?

hell yeah use it up top and put the fluro sideways to hit the plant top to bottom

Ok I set up my 400w HPS today and moved the flo's to the side of the plant. the HPS is putting out so much more light. Im happier already. :-D Lets hope she is too. Here are some new pics.

drop the hps lower its to high, you might want to rotate the plant every now and then to even it out if you cant have the floros on each side. you will definitely see an improvement now. i think you will be happy.

rotating is a good idea i plan on it for sure. with that shelf that the light is sitting on, i cant go any lower. at first i had it hanging under the shelf and it was too close. i held my hand at the top of the plant and it was burning the back of my hand. i dont want to burn her so with another week or two of growth i think she'll be in a good spot. growing a half inch every day it seems. thanks for the help mr mike ill do another post when somethings worth showing.

try stacking the pot ontop of something to bring the plant up if you cant bring the light down, you dont want it to stretch out so much, it will still grow up anyway but you can drop the plant to adjust and it wont be as fast. you will get better buds, its a little late in the game but still better. and i dont see any fans that closet is gonna get hot...

This is the second week. These pics arent that great. This was a gift started from bagseed. Any ideas or characteristics as to what strain this might be?
