If not can anyone recommend a good alt to peroxide with these specific nutes.
Thanks in advance the noob.

i dont think the 3 percent would harm anything. youll want to have your water rdy and solution /peroxide spread throughout the system well before putting plants back so its good to have another tub of the same size to pre-mix/ switch lids with. Thats what ive thought of doing anyways.i have these nutes you have listed, myself, and it says use the measurements to 1 gal of water. It also says it can be used on a soil grow so im tinkering trying to figure that out. I know its in the sequence of FEED,WATER,WATER with such, but how much since itll be directly fed to a soil grown plant??

I wouldn't waste the time with the 3%. Just go to a hydroponics store and get 29% and a spray bottle and spray a bunch in your reservoir.

It works fine with those nutes...nothing to worry about. Watch that 29% on you skin, and don't use too too much of it.

Iammeca: For what it's worth, I used 3% H2O2 religiously and for a long time with out ill effects. I started taking some hydro classes and they advised against it. When I questioned the instructor he asked why I was using it? I said as a disinfectant to keep down the algae. He claimed that if I changed my nutes regularly and kept my reservoir clean and the light sealed out I wouldn't need it. So far so good. I haven't used it on my last two grows and I've had no algae problems. Another instructor pointed out that if you're using the Red or Green Thrive Alive B-1, (I don't remember which), that you just killed it by adding hydrogen peroxide. Something to think about anyway.
