Tap water Chlorine removal question.

ive used it a few times with no harm whatsoever. now i normally let the tap water sit in a bucket for a day or two that way i dont have to spend extra on removing chlorine from tap.

If you can drink it, your plants can drink it and will happily do so, simplest way i can put it. I used to persue the whole cleaning of water and sitting out for 24 hours yadayada, then i went the other way and used it straight out of the tap. Conclusion being that i had been wasting my time and using it straight from the tap made no difference whatsoever.

depends on whether your water supplier uses chlorine or chloramine really, I read a thread with some local dude just ranting on about chloramine and I wrote it off as wtfever.
After reading for awhile about it I thought maybe there was something to it. Then about 5 months ago or so my tap ppm quadrupled and plants in hydro started dropping left and right. I can only think that my water company went to chloramine . it doesn't outgas like chlorine. Its a combination of chlorine and ammonia.

I dunno, my supplier uses chloramine and i don't face issues.

tiptoptoker i highly suggest you find out how chloramine can affect humans health. one of those is how it can aggravate respiratory problems. i know this because i had a close friend of mines that moved to a county which used chloramine and it affected him in many ways until he went to a family doctor and he pointed out many bad things that comes from water being treated with chloramine. dont believe me dont matter. just do some reading and youll find out......

I am stating issue with regards to plants. My plants got chloraminated water, they didn't mind one bit. That was the point i am trying to make. My personal health is an entirely different matter
respiratory problems are the LAST of my worries 
I do not argue against you though, i had a flatmate move in straight from Barcalona, first thing he informed me was how ill my tap water made him and had to buy bottled water for the next however many months. Me, i say fuck it, i've felt ill for years and year, i just ignore it, better things to concern myself with I'm not one of those sad little people that have to take pills and consult with their doctor and worry worry worry, i'm a tank roar!

You should rethink that for a bit. Because once its to late, you wish you had changed to drinking purified water instead of tap.

And i'd wish i had stopped smoking and wished i had not eaten that packet of pork scratchngs and wish i had not enojyed those cheeky pints and enjoyed well, most things i enjoy. I will not go into it but you're talking to the wrong person when it comes to the notion of self-preservation all i'm after from life is death
