Tangerine, Vanilla Kush, Afghani Kush, Blueberry

i don't post much, but this board has been an incredible source of information. figured it was time i gave a little back.

all of these were grown at the same time, with the same lighting and nutes. one 250w cfl per two plants with 42w cfl side lighting and the fox farm trio as per their feeding schedule.



Strain: Barny's Farm Vanilla Kush
Growth: Indoor, 250 watt CFL
Nutes: FoxFarm
Yield: 1.5 OZ
Bag Appeal: 8/10 Big, dense nugs with frosty orange/reddish hairs
Smell: 9/10 It really does have a nice herby vanilla smell. Delicious!
Taste: 9/10 Tastes a lot like it smells. The smoke has a creamy quality that I haven’t experienced before. Awesome…
The High: 9/10 One big bong hit does it, and lasts for hours.
Flowering Time: 65-70 days
Comments: While I can’t say I’ve smoked as many strains as a lot of folks here, this one is one of my favorites.

I haven’t smoked the tangerine. I grew it for a friend of mine. The info listed is from his feedback.

Strain: Barny's Farm Tangerine Dream
Growth: Indoor, 250 watt CFL

Yield: 2 OZ Biggest yield I’ve gotten thus far with my current setup.
Bag Appeal: 6/10 Really not very colorful. Nugs are dense and frosty though.
Smell: 7/10 Earthy with a hint of orange peel
Taste: “Great. Super smooth”
The High: ”Amazing. Instant and lasts 3-4 hours”
Flowering Time: 70 days
Comments: I topped for 4 colas and super cropped. Seemed to work out well.


Strain: Next Gen Afghani Kush
Growth: Indoor, 250 watt CFL
Nutes: FoxFarm
Yield: 1 OZ
Bag Appeal: 10/10 Beautiful, big, vibrant orange hairs. Prettiest buds I’ve grown so far
Smell: 7/10 Like spices…
Taste: 7/10 Similar to the smell
The High: 8/10 Heavy indica high makes me melt into the couch. One or two bong hits will do it.
Flowering Time: 60 days
Comments: I really like this strain. The only downside was the average yield..

Strain: Next gen BC Early Blueberry
Growth: Indoor, 250 watt CFL
Nutes: FoxFarm
Yield: 3/4 OZ
Bag Appeal: 6/10 Nothing exciting to look at
Smell: 9/10 Has a wonderful, fruity blueberry smell
Taste: 7/10 Not as flavorful as the smell, but still tasty
The High: 6/10 Not nearly as potent as other strains I’ve grown, so my grade is a little low. I actually really enjoy the buzz, a good, mellow out body buzz with a moderate head high, but it takes a fair amount to get you there. Good for friends who don’t smoke much
Flowering Time: 55 days
Comments: Overall I was disappointed with this strain. I’ll have to try a different blueberry.

Nice report buddy. I was trying to find a Blueberry to grow and I'm still leaning towards Dj short over Nextgen due to the hype. Any color changes for your Nextgen Blue? I myself also grew Nextgen Afghani Kush and it is a very great strain. The buds themselves make my jaw drop! Pic from my grow for others to get an idea of the bag appeal.

i wanted to grow the Dj short, but couldn't get my hands on it. i didn't have any color changes at all... love the buzz from the afghani kush. wish the yeild were bigger...

dang gopher attacked my Dutch Passion BB.. it survived, but i'm afraid that it's stunted...
every time i think of what i am growing i know that next year i will have more VK.. it is excellent!

tr afghan kush from WOS.that shit was bomb,stuck me to the couch playing P3 for 3 hrs.very stony high.yielded over 2 oz. dry under 6 23wt cfl.buds are dense as hell.really spicy,eathy kind of smell but a little sweetness on the exhale,best bud ever grown and flowered fully at 50 days.

afghan kush from world of seeds eh? your description of smell and taste match the next gen stuff i grew, but the yeild is double. gonna have to give it a try!

great reports! +rep, i agree with you on the blueberry from next gen having grown/tried it.
soma seeds sogouda actually has blueberry in it and its one of the strongest i've smoked, i'd give it a 9/10. the strain had that really true cheesy smell and thick nug clusters but a very fade out of this world high, i remember everything on sogouda with a hazy quality to it. i like dj short for blueberry. next gen isnt bad but have to say i wasnt satisfied with it either.
