im a newbie so be patient please... this is a 2 to 3 month old plant from seed.....(not sure what type or strain)..it's been in the window since i started growing it...im hearing its to far from light so its streching or reaching for light...dont have any lighting system...help me save her guys..thanks

Upcan into a larger pot with good soil.
Pick up some CFL fixtures & lamps & get them very close.
That's how you'll save her.

Yup, as said above, more rootzone, more light. Unfortunately theres no real substitute for intense light, and january Portland light is NOT going to be enough for vigerous growth. If you can do nothing else, at least put a lamp as close as possible to it with some cfl's

thanks guys...repotting right away......lighting goes up tomorrow...........will post pics in a week or two and update the veterans!! appreciate your responses

BTW, when you re-pot, bury her up to the first set of leaves.

There is no substitute for light ganja brother
I would consider cutting her way back, re-potting her and then sustain her until light increases naturally or add some lights.

thanks GWN ..i did just that up to the roots...put 3 100w bulbs in hangin lights 12-14 inches above (temporary light)until i return this weekend.....wiill post pics when i return...way to paranoid to cut her back unity...(maybe i should have a drink and reconsider)...she's my only child lol!!

Ha, I hear you
It's all good, just trying to think ahead a bit here. Consider that you want your only child to carry a lot of fruit one day and in order to do that she will need to be able to support them. If the inter nodes are spaced that far apart you will have a hard time to get all of her under a decent light etc. Keep in mind that you are not smoking the stem between the bud sites ganja brother. With more light she will have closer nodes....
Have a big swig of whatever you drink and ponder it....
