Taking cuttings in the summer

I have a hard time keeping it below 80f in the summer. I know clones like it a bit cooler than that. Also, if i'm having more than half my clones die on me @80f am i correct in assuming it is my high temps or am i messing up something else?

I'm new to cutting clones so all advice is appreciated.

Pictures would help.

And detail your process, step by step.
Then maybe it will be easier to diagnose your problems .

Good luck

ok i will try. thank you.

i pretty much just used the guide from grow weed easy.

sterilized my shears, cut like 5 inches below a new growth tip, 45 degree angle, snip off lower growth and clipped the bigger fan leaves around the new growth 50% or so. immediately into a water cup. quick dip into clonex gel, into a 1.5 square grodan cube soaked for 10 sec in starter solution pH around 6. under a 7" humidity dome. its under a 200w 4000k LED light but the light is 2-3 feet from the clones and dimmed to about half. 18/6 light cycle. in the dome my hygrometer/thermometer says its 81F and 95% humidity. after about 72 hours half my clones are looking perfect and standing up straight the others are all keeled over.

ill take some pics when i'm back down there tonight.
