Taking clones from Mother with Ph issues( Ladder)

So I want to take clones from a mother with Ph issues. The mother has the Ladder thing going, uneven branches. But some of the leaves look healthy..

I wanted to take clones from it. Will my clones continue with the PH issue and the ladder effect. Is this a bad idea. Is it going to effect yield?

My other question is lets say you take a clones from a mother that has root issues. Will the clone have the same root issues as well?

Yes the clones will be unhealthy as well and hard to sprout roots with probably a low strike rate. Always take clones from a healthy mum .

are the mom's in soil or hydro?? i'm not a big believer in ph issues, so i'm not exactly what you mean when you say the mom's have ph issues tbh..
as far as alternating nodes, or what i think you mean by laddering, yes, that is a sign of maturity, when a plant reaches a certain age, it will put out alternate nodes, therefore all clones taken from that mother will also have the same alternating nodes as they're technically the same age as the mother plant..
alternating nodes will have zero effect on yield though one way or another..

I was under the assumption that alternating nodes was a ph issue...

They are in dro
