What is the best way to take a brix sample from the plant. I just ordered my scope and realized I'm not sure the best way to do it.

Does it matter if its a fan leaf from the bottom or a sugar leaf from the top. I'd imagine the sugars would be more concentrated on the tops?

Just another indicator of ripeness, and curious what the peak sugar levels of different strains are and how transfers into final taste, smell, strenght, etc...

from what I understand, sugar levels should be around 11-13%
Any decline means problems are arising or peak sugar is reached

Cool thanks for the info, good to have a base line to go by. I plan on watching the numbers through out the grow. Ill be watching one yo mama in supersoil and no nutes and one in f.farm with Humboldt nutes.
