tablets

im wondering weather soil tabs and flower tabs really do substitue the need to add fertilizers in your soil.
as a first time grower i know manually add fertilzer will be a sure burn so im trying to make it simple.
has anyone used these products before. if so what were the outcomes?
even if you never used them before general knowlegde will also help.
