T8 distance to rooted clones

I am new to cloning and using tube fluorescent lighting. I have recently transplanted some rooted Gelato clones from an aerocloner to soil. I am curious as to how far I should keep my 4 ft 2 bulb T8 fixture from the tops of these clones? And also the distance between the aerocloner and the T8? Thanks in advance.

A t8 can be within just a few inches of the plants. I keep my T5ho about 2-3 inches away.

Oh OK. Thanks. I ask because I had 5 14w CFLs about 2-3 inches from the top of the rooted clones and it started light bleaching the leaves. Temperature is stable at 73 degrees with good air circulation. I have the t8 6-8 inches above them right now and they seem to enjoy that much better. I'll let them grow into it and adjust from there I suppose.
