Does anyone like T5s and how do you like the end result?

I use a 24w T5 6400k for Germination/Propagation. I like the results just fine.
If you plan on using T5's the whole way through they you need to make sure you get some HO (high output) tubes.
Yield with Flouro's would be generally less than with HID's but there are plenty of journals on here using CFL's etc and they get pretty good results but buds can be a little airy rather than dense. As long as you get a good mixture of blue and red spec tubes you should be good!
