I'd probably replace the bulbs before putting them to use myself, but if you only have the bulb, on one of the ends there should be the make, wattage and I believe the spectrum (5000k for example). Just google the manufacturer and bulb wattage and you should be able to find the amount of lumens.

Really? I've got.. Er.. Tomatoes?

If you're actually growing turnips under a t5 please stick around and make a grow log.
I have a good friend who grew some tomatoes outdoors last year with hydro. They were beefsteak I believe and I've never seen a tomato that big.
