Do 6500k t5 bulbs give a full spectrum? do they have red in it? Im not really understanding how the plant takes in light. I read 6500k for vegging and the warm ones for flowering or you could mix em. I have 4x 3500k ones right now? are these flat out useless? I didn't know what I was doing when I got them. I plan on maybe buying 4 new ones online. They have the two mentioned above and at the hydro store they have these "full spectrum ones" which I don't know what color temp they are.

I was thinking of buying two hot 3000k HO and two cold 6500k HO, but are "full spectrum" ones better? they cost double the price. Are my 3500k ones sufficient for flowering right now.

On a side note, to all the people looking for fast ph issue solutions. Dont dick around with home made bullshit. I bought some "Ph minus" today and a single drop made a gallon go from 7 to 5.5. was awesome. I poured about 10 oz. out and topped it off with fresh 7.0 water and was at a solid 6.5. Now I was just messing around to see how it affects water. My soil is steady 7.0. What ph water do I need to use in order to make the soil steady at 6.5? is the answer 6.5 ph water? or does the water need to be even lower ph to bring the soil's ph down from 7?

okay so 6500k Lights mainly give off a blue color, they may have a tiny bit of red, but not noticeable to the human eye.
And you can mix the lights, Some people veg and flower with only 3500k (HPS light) So your 3500k will work, I think Full spectrum lights are about 4500k-5000k
I would buy 2 3000k and 2 6500k, get the best of both worlds in there.

and your pH problem I dont understand what your asking o.O
Hope that helps.

Mos Def. My tap water is coming out at 6.0 then it changes to 7 once it has been 24 hours. Is this normal?

Yea mine does that too, but mine comes out at like 8.0 and I add vinegar right when i get it out, and I let it sit, and check the pH again,
and it goes back up so I add more until its at 6.5

Damn DUDE! 8.0 is hella high. Does this mean the water is super clean? what does alkaline mean. I googled it but it says salty. I dont get water. lol

That's pretty dope to know it's good water. I've noticed since I moved here the water taste alright and doesn't dry out skin. I've made juices to drink from concentrate and the water seems legit.

That's good to know. Because I get water from a well. Not from any city.
