T5 Light enough to bud?

I have a 96w T5 light thats 2 feet by 1 foot with four bulbs in it.
My plants seem to be doing great under it for now besides my inability to check the ph of my water.

But can someone tell me if this light is enough for my plants to bud? Im afraid I wont have enough light to fully grow 4 plants.

Ill post pictures, some are of my plants currently, one shows the light. Oh and thats not where I'm officially growing, Ive built a grow room since.
By the way, how do they look???

what do you mean by, "fully grow" 4 plants?

and how much smoke do you need to get from this?

but, yes, you can bud with this, just keep the plants about 1 foot tall and either alot of them or look into sog or scrog. (or lst)

...yeah, looking at the pics better, you could bud 4 1 foot tall plants under this (you´d start to bud when they are about half that(or sooner if you cant raise your light bit if they go over the 1 foot mark)

im not going to take a guess how much bud you could score with that system though lol.

but

its mostly free bud, thats gonna save you a few bucks later down the line. bucks you can use to upgrade your system.

depending on strain and grow methods and experience..

he might get more, but probably yeah, or less.

If you get any more than a oz on less than 100w of light no matter what strain... Then you have a keeper!!!

Thanks for the responses. I'm only growing for myself so I wasnt expecting a lot, even though a quarter oz per plant is a little disappointing haha.
What happens if they go over one foot? Will there not be enough light then? My one plant is around a foot now, and my other two are just starting out, only about a week or two in, and since I only have that one light I'm planning on letting the bigger one grow until the other three grow up to a foot so I can begin budding

If they grow too tall that low of light will not penetrate to the lower bud sites... Throw some cfls in there if you can, it'll make a HUGE difference...

Those buds would be pretty wispy with only 96 watts of T5. You'd be a LOT better off with an HPS, even a 150 watt would give you nicer, denser nugs. If there a foot tall now, they'll be at least twice that at the end. Good luck...

Yeah I was thinking I might add some since they're cheap. Should I add them at the top of the plants? or should i put them on the sides so the lower sites get light? I'm not sure since the plants grow toward the light

Yea all around is best... above the plant and around the sides... They'll love it! I used to grow with cfls and flouros only before I got my HPS lights...

you can totally flower with a t5. Get some aquarium coral bulbs. I flower with an 8 bulb t5 with various aquraium coral bulbs. I did a side by side comparison with a 1k watt and the t5 put out much better results. With those bulbs I'm producing a much fuller spectrum plus infrared and uv light which hid don't produce. 80% higher PAR than hid's

PAR is Photsynthetically Available Radiation or Photosynthetically Active Radiation. Photon flux density (photons per second per square meter) within the visible wavelength range (usually 400 to 700 nm). It indicates the total energy available to plants for photosynthesis .

check my journal.

good luck and happy growing
