T5 Height from seedlings

I keep mine as close as possible. Never more then two or three inches. Just keep your eye on their growth with them that close. It is not uncommon for them to grow into the lights a lot faster then you would think.

Okay awesome, thanks for the input. Just didn’t want to fry them when they are so young. I’ll get them nice and close once they get a few sets of leaves

You are welcome. If you do see them start to get stretchy before a few sets of leaves move the lights closer. I keep them that close from day one. I have never had it harm a single one. Other then not moving my light soon enough and having them grow into it of course lol
But ya unless the plant is actually touching a t5 bulb they wont hurt them. A HID on the other hand can, will, and do fry young plants.
