T5 Grow 2008

A few more weeks and 2008 indoor will be done. 3 plants under 48 inch 4 bulb T5 from seed to bud. To give a bit of reference, that is a full size refrigerator on the left side of the last picture.What do you think?

damn dude, doin those t5's some justice. Lookin pretty good. I have a t5 but i use it for veg. I got some 4 foot moms under it right now that i gotta cut down to size. good work bud
 
anyone know how they are priced at lowes for example maybe the base and the bulbs... ive seen the bulbs at 16 a box but cant find the ballasts or base... all out at lowes and only the 8 footers at homecheapo?
 
I've never seen T5's anywhere but online, you may be confusing these with T8's, but then again I may be way off track as I haven't shopped lighting for a couple of years.
 
Theres also a good deal advertised on this site ...t5's.. I was thinking about the 4 light 22"..with hanger and reflector... $199. the light on this site is 4' I think..
 
damn! very nice man... how long did you veg those for? and did you switch bulbs from veg to flower?
 
very nice m8, im lookin for t5s, is 4 lights is all you used?

so what if you introduced a hps250w or more watts, will this do even more for the buds like grow more nicer then they are???

I suppose more light would mean more bud, but I grow for myself and really don't want or need the extra heat or power consumption. But yes I'm only using a little old 4 bulb fixture. Personally I think what you put in the soil is just as important if not more than the light source, but that's just me. :weed:
 
Very nice! I just got a 4 bulb T5 setup myself. I was gonna use it for a couple of moms but I just might try to flower with it after looking at those nice nugs. Good job SativaSam:leaf:
 
Thanks Loco and everyone else who commented. I don't believe T5's will ever replace HPS or MH but they do have there place and will adequately do the job in some environments.
 
Looking good brother. I actually went the T5 route myself with my newest garden. I've just seen such great performance out of them I had to go that way. I'm currently using just one 2' 4tube T5 with a full spectrum for flowering. I'm using an Aerogarden as a clone/veg system. With the low heat and pushing out almost 10,000 lumens, I've been very impressed with how my garden is looking right now.
