Hey guys I bought this 4 bulbo t5 off a buddy it's a coral t5 used for salt water aquariums, beats I need help finding bulbs for it in the correct spectrums, or will regular 4 ft work in these connectors?

Just get the corallife bulbs dude. itll be easiest.
Go to your local fish store , higher scale the better. Petsmart may carry them may not. have have to fine a smaller ma n pa coral saltwater store. theyll prob have em for you. We have a store out here called Aquarium Adventure which is a super size fish store and they carry all the bulbs ( i know because my roommate doing fishtank servicing )

i dont think regular bulbs fit. it lookslike it takes the powercompact bulb ends. its 2 bulbs with a piece on the end and that goes into the socket.

they are a T5HO i know that much as my roommate has the same/similar light and he has those kinds of bulbs as well. I always called em power compacts but not sure if its an actual power compact. i just call it htat due to the connector end.

The "T5" designation refers eighths of an inch in tube diameter. A T5 is 5/8 of an inch. T8 is 1", T12 is 1 1/4".
Nice, but it seems like a lot of light for a mother plant. She'll be growing like mad surrounded with 275w of light. Unless you're taking lots of clones or trimming her often, of course.

I believe they are 55w each, which would be 330w total. The trash can was originally made for taking one plant all the way till finish.
If I used it for a mother she'd probably be getting hacked down around once a month lol

I only counted five lamps. There must be one below the bottom of the pic. 
How did that grow turn out for you?
Do the sides of the can get warm? Is it a metal or plastic can? The reason I ask is that I'd be a bit concerned about heating up plastic as it can out-gas some unpleasant chems, even under low heat like the T5 produces. The plastic doesn't have to burn to out-gas.
I used 324 watts my first grow a few years back. Got over 6 zips of mid grade bagseed bud. I haven't bought bud since.
(praise the bud gods!) That's why I figure it's a bit much for a mother plant.
I thought about doing a tin garbage can grow way back, but instead I built up a small storage cab. It was a successful grow, but only netted me about a half zip... Oh well, live and learn...that was an early experiment over a decade ago. I use the cab for seedlings and cuttings now.
I was going to keep nice Purple Dream mother plant in the cab, but I wanted to shut down production over the summer months so I could go on vacation without concerns.

Sorry I don't frequent this sub forum often.
The grow went well, if I remember I got around 3 zips from one plant with horrible genetics and inconsistent feedings.
The can doesn't get hot at all. All 6 lights are individually air cooled. They're all sitting in their own cool tubes and get their own air supply. The can will be about one or two degrees above ambient room temp if not it will be ambient room temp.
I put a plant in it and turned it on today and it was at 40% humidity and 70°F, so a bit above ambient in the basement.
I used to run the can with a hydro set up, but today I threw some soil in it to see how it does! From chem hydro to organic soil! Full circle baby!
