old post i know but how many posts per page are you on? when things run slow for me, especially when it is a music thread or a thread loaded with videos, I cut my posts per page to 10. that helps. I usually got mine set at 30. but ya, on those types of threads, I keep the posts per page at 10.

Thanks for the tip, Doc. Affected by the curse of the 2010's and want everything now. Coming from a Windows 3.0 era and my screaming fast 286 PC you'd think I'd have more patience!!
