T minus 28 hours... Folks are on the road now..

My folks are out on their trip to Ca.. should be arriving in about 28 hours or so.. They have yet to see their Great grandbaby so were all jazzed about it..

anyhow I decided to make some treats for myself... 1st time using B.C Sugar cookie mix but I liked that it uses 1 cup of oil..

(sunni or other mods.. ) if possible to leave the thread here till Sunday then move to cooking.. thanks..

if not here is a step by step tute for all those who have never tried medibles...

step one

get the MMJ and some tin foil



add desired amount to be decarbed.. wrap up mmj in foil so no air escapes..



decarb it at 250 for about 12 mins (depends on ammt and how fresh)

*wifey got me a new toaster..*



while the MMJ is baking.. I will bake as well..



go back inside... put ingredients together





once the MMJ is decarbed let it cool for about 5 mins or so inside the pouch.



add some MMJ to a metal strainer and it will crumble thru it.. but it wont allow the bigger things like stems to go thru. you want a nice clean powder.. gagging on a stem is worse then having a popcorn kernal lodge somewhere..





add the mmj to the mix and stir...



One pack states it will make 30 2 inch cookies.. I am using 2 packs.. only seems like I will get 18 at the most..




toss in the oven... and wait



yup only 18 2 inch cookies.. wth



well they are not bad.. just ate one.. I think I will stick to the peanut butter and oatmeal ones..

which I just so how manage to have ... .. my folks will only be here for 2 days and staying at a hotel.. and all these are for me...

Does it smell much like weed when your cooking it, at any stage?

Any particular reason you don't just make canna butter or oil, instead of putting plant material in the actual cookies? Not that I personally mind munching on a little weed every now and then...but when I make medibles, I tend to steer clear fom baked goods, so the plant material can often give away the treats true content.

@ meta.. I will switch between the 2.. currently my crock pot died.. and when I make it this way it saves so much time.. no fussing with the cooking of the oil.. and when I make oil it's generally for canna caps.. I do love the taste of the mmj tho.. my 1st medible was a firecracker.. and WOW.. I was hooked on them.. smoking is great for instant relief but for me a cookie or two or 3 every 4-8 hours does the trick for me..

if you have not tried it this way.. it's a must.. they sell the small bags of mix too at target for about .75 or so..

during the decarb it's a different smell.. but yeah.. and I bake inside only the cookie mmj mix I decarb outside.. there are times if you use too much MMJ when it will smell like MJ inside too..

spent part of the day cleaning up here.. wifey says she will clean the bathroom.. (bless her) yards are done dishes done.. camera batteries charged..
will spend part of Fri am cleaning my Church then back to the house to poop scope again and bathe Roxy.. she gets sunburned and rolls in the dirt like a pig I swear it...
