WEll im currently growing 3 plants in soil, a friend of mine offered to let me borrow his hydro setup thing, and a few nutes.
Is it possible to change to hydro from soil
How much more complicated is hydro growing than soil growing?

Its a shame hes currently growing or he would have let me borrow his 400w hps :?

so i should stick to soil then yeah?
It makes more sense as ive read more about soil grows than hydros

Did you see the bushes that FDD grew in soil on the "It's All Bullshit" thread??? The man grew pot with trunks the size of Walter Peyton's quads. They were so dense that a full-grown turkey could hide in the branches. He had to use a chain saw to cut down the monsters and sharpen the blade half way thru. He harvested so much pot off of it he had to rent a storage warehouse to put it all in. He had... OK, you get the idea; the man is a god at growing in soil - period.

i would stick with soil. i grow hydro and the results are amazing, yes. but if your already in soil and you dont have a full knowledge of hydroponics and how each method works i wouldnt try it. i go with drip irrigation in my veg box and ebb and flow in my flowering room. go with soil for this grow, do reasearch on hydro and then step up if you feel comfortable.

For me I found aero/hydro easier and better for indoor growing. Soil is good if you grow laregr outside plants but the slow growth of soil and the dirtines and energy it takes is so much more then a good old easy aero/ hydro grow for sure.Ease and spedd its hydro.Big and outside soil works good.

dirtiness and energy? i've seen some pretty "wet" hydro set-ups. standing water in the corners........ takes all the strength in one hand to tip that watering jug.:peace:

yeah im going to stick to soil then :) and ask to borrow some of his nuted when i start flowering ( will read into nutes abit more as i have not used any so far)

lol In aero you just add a little water here and there and add a cup of nutes here and there rest goes by itsself.Soil you gotta lug buckets of water every few days. You goota top off soil watch moisture levels increased nats,Get rid of the soil when done lug bags of soil to the grow room.wait, wait, wait and wait to get done. Then you have dirty socks to make it worst.Hydro and aero are superior indoors...how you say..woot! wooot!!!

if your indoors why are you lugging buckets of water around?:-|

how do you fill your tank?

add water here and there? sounds like watering.

lol i have a system where i have a pump from my bathroom pumping water into my res in the grow room. and if i want to empty my res i just hook it up opposite and drain into the bathroom. all this happens while i sit back, relax, and smoke a big fat doobie. the only lugging i do is bringing the nutes from the closet to the res. damn thats tough. oh and lugging the massive body bags of bud my hydro system produces lol jk

hmmm i grew in soil, went away for a week came home plants were close to dead and all ended up hermy, i grew dwc and went away for 10 days and came home to 14" healthy plants
