Switching to G17 from M&P Shield

My girl is getting her carrier license in a couple weeks and I am going to give her my shield, which means I get to pick out a new everyday carrier. I’ve been wanting to get something a little bigger for a long time. I have kind of a small frame, and even the little shield is semi noticeable especially if I’m not wearing a loose shirt. One of my buddies swears by the G17 but I’m thinking it just might be too big. Anybody here carry one?

Might be too big. Go try one out. You will like the upgrade. Just keep your fingers away from the trigger.

Yeah at first I was pretty adamant on having a piece with an external safety but I’m over that now. As for her, it’s 100% a necessity

There's a lot sexier guns out there than them blocks

The triggers do suck, the aftermarket parts just make them more creepy.
