switching to 12 / 12 what should i expect??

heres some new pics just took last night. the 3 red pots are bagseed and the 3 green are skunky haze (freebe seeds). they had been vegging for about a monts and a half give or take a week or so. i just changed the lights and light cycle to 12/12. i am using 12 100w warm cfl's. i repotted them into 12" pots with scotts potting soil. what should i expect / look for within the days to come???

Next time wait a bit longer before you switch to 12's. Your leaves shoult at least touch the edge of the pot. Your soil looks like it needs a bit more perlite or vermiculite. Careful not to overwater, this will cause the plants growth to slow.
 
well look for the little white hairs I'm really stoned and i can't remember what they r called but u should be seeing those within the first week...if you see any pod looking things with no white hairs then u have a male...I dunno if u already new that but u asked what to expect and thats what I would expect and even though they r small they will probably still double in size before u get buds
 
You should expect your plants to double in size at least and start looking for those pre-flowers in a week or so to determine sex.

Also, WTF are those little plants growing in your pots? Weeds? Of the unwanted kind...?
 
aha i should of said that this is my first grow. yea thanks for the info. and i guess them little jawns came with the dirt, il rip em up
 
with the soil you got just find out what a garden weasel does and make your self a little tool. it will get air to your roots. and i want bigger plants when i go flower

they look healthy, stretched?? anything i should add or take away? first timer here
 
they look pretty healthy i noticed some leaf burn and i can't really tell u for sure what caused that but i'd say possibly overwatering possibly causing a nitrogen deficiency also i would say that getting more aerated soil that drains better using perlite or something similar would help. I haven't grown in soil bf so I'm doing my best....but they don't look bad man i'd say you probably get some buds off those i mean they are small but you obviously knew what size they were when u switchd so i dont need to tell you that and im sure u realize the longer u veg the more bud u get when u switch so basically what im saying is they look decent and you'll probably get a little bit of bud out of em
 
oh yeah keep everybody updated with photos it seems to draw more replys...I know cause I don't have a camera and I don't get that many replies
 
everything is way way behind schedule it looks to me as if theres only 3 or 4 nodes?! that long for a month and half of vegging? mine are that big like at the 10day pt.? .. n e who ... not here to bash u and say ur horrible but if i were u i wud use shop lights the fixture is 9 bucks from wal-mart p[lusu gotta get the 4ft bulbs thast go in it ....wuts ur temp?? ..using any nuets? ...if not.. than u shud be... what kind of water are using... what was the light schedule for them during veg stage? ..24/0 is HIGHLY reccommneded since ur only using cfls and the fact they can grow 33percent more from 240/0 rather than 18/6 ...and IMOP 16/8 is retarded ....but u shud read some tihngs and researched a little bit
 
i read as much as i can, but when i read something new i forget something old. using no nutes, tap water, and was on a 24/0 sched. first grow btw. yea, i taught theyd be much bigger afret a month an a half but oh well, all im tryin to do is keep em alive and grow something smokeable. thank god i didnt use the good seeds i baught yet. looks like i dont got any idea of what the fuck to do. anyways, theve been getting bigger, hope to have more pics soon. thanks
 
Well the whole name of this game is "" Hurry up and wait "" then you get to cut them down and groom them,, then you " Hurry Up and wait " some more to cure them . Then you "Hurry up " and smoke them , Then you plant some more to "hurry up and watch a seed crack , then grow and start all over ... So while your waiting .. How about sining us a song .? entertain us ..... Got any naked pics of your sister or girlfriend ? cause 8-10 weeks is a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG TIME
 
tap water is fine.... just let it sit out for atleast ONE day to evaporrtae all the chlorine....dont go waste ur money on bottled water ... use 2 milk jugs or whatever to swap it... so u always have one rdy to water w/.
