switching bulbs...

I have a question about swapping out bulbs in my flower room. I currently have a 600w and 430w hps @45's to each other and I'd like to swap out the 600 with a MH for the last 2 weeks to give them more UVB. My concern is that I have plants at various stages that are anywhere from 5-20 days in, as well as the plants I'm harvesting. I don't want to stress those plants by switching one of the lights to MH and then switching back. Does anyone know if changing to a MH and back again would have any adverse affects on these? Any advise would be really appreciated. Thnx

u can veg and flower using JUST mh. u can veg and flower just using hps.

u can use a combination of the two since science has established that MH is better suited for veg and hps for flower.

so no by switching the type of light wont be a super big deal to the plant...

Thanks for the reply, i'm aware that you can use either MH or HPS for entire grows but what i'm not experienced with is how much swapping a light would affect a plant during mid-flower. My assumption was that it wouldn't have much of an effect on the plant, but I'd like to be sure as this is my first grow and I do have quite a few plants under 12/12 at the moment...

Any other opinions?
