Switched from MH to HPS light, leaves now drooping.

Growing hydro and at the time I only had a MH light so I veged 4 weeks and have been flowering for 5 weeks. I bought a HPS light and switched. Ever since then my leaves have started to droop. They are nice, big, deep green... just drooping.

Should I switch back? I was thinking the HPS would be a welcome change for them, I guess not.

I have them in 5qt buckets and they are about 3' high, could they be root bounded?

Well I guess I'am talking to myself here.

Plants are still slowly getting worse. I'am going to try 2 things. Since my leaves are dark dark green and every now and then a smaller leaf will yellow and die I believe I'am on the edge of nute burn. The leaf tips are curling in and drying but from the look of the color look healthy...

I diluted my nutes with more water and I changed back to a MH light. Since I did more than 1 thing at a time I won't know what fixed it if they do get better. I'll keep this updated for the searchers.

yea once their light source has changed, they kinda freak out. I would've kept both lights on it with the MH farther away than the HPS to get them use to the new source. or only keep the MH on for a couple hours when youre feedin them light. I'm sure theyre fine and like ganjo said, get some nuts in them too. =] good luck!

check ur plants are aeraeted enuff, pop ur lid off make sure your roots arent tangled, pumps are workin and air stone is clear. it could be oxygen starvation. but it sounds like a touch of shock too, at this point ur gonna get some yellow leaves anyway, usually down near thge bottom of the plant , dont worrry bout that. lay off the nutes too for a few days .
