The babies in the pic are 17 days old now, been under CFL's since sprouting... i was wondering if they were old/strong enough to be put under my brand new 600W HPS light for the duration of veg/flowering
Yeah I dont think it would be a problem, I used a 1000W HPS from the begining (they stretched at first but after the initial stretch they grew astronomically) and in the end they were the bushiest bushes I have seen. IMO
if they are rooted then it should be fine to put under the 600w.. i have about the same setup and i use 4ft fluoros for veg then i use 600w hps for flower
Give them the good light man! It is time to see some real growth from that new HPS you have sittin around! I would just keep the light about 3 feet high the first day, then bring it down 6inches every day until it is close as you can get it with out burning them. Do you have a air cooled hood?
