Switch Nutrient Brands on third week of flower?

My first attempt. Going great so far with Canna Aqua ( hydro ebb and flow) . Problem is... canna boost pricing and the economy.

So I investigated and found several MUCH more affordable solutions I am looking to try. My questions are

1.) Can I just switch nutrients next time i change the res? Canna to DynaGrow or Botnicare.
2.) Do the sweetners, or carbo loading supplements really change, help flavor or smell?

I got this far from the ton o knowledge here. Odor, nute lockouts, lights, etc... all now rocking thanks to RIU users! I will post a summary, pics and reviews for the strains grown.

yes you can switch. I did halfway though flower from GH to AN no problem
I did do a flush when I switch though

ive heard its not good to switch nutes and the sweeteners are something you can taste. cal mag is very distinct if you know what to look for..
