Today I tied the lower branches on this bitch down with some fishing line to get all of the branches spread out and into the sun. I just want everyone's opinion as to whether fishing string will hurt the branches. I did not tie them down TOO taut. Here are some pics to sativate over.....muahahahahaha

Also am wondering how many days most people stay in flowering before harvest. This one has been in flower for about 3 weeks now.

What do YOU think??

nice plants"ive found fishing line is cool for a month or so,but after that it starts effecting the plant, can make it go brittle and cut into plant.Yours looks like only few weeks off,so i think will be fine.

Next time you go out, it would probably be beneficial to use something other than fishing line. Parachute cord works well, it has a bit of give for growing branches, won't cut your plants, and you can usually pick some up in a camo color.

Yeah I'd never use fishing line...if the wind blows too hard it can cut the stem...just get some kite string or any kind of string for that matter.

@enjoi, "purps" is just the strain name....doesn't meen it will necasarily turn purple....the color doesn't actualy matter ethier.....unless "your selliing to highschool kids" in the words of many......not an accusations, just a quote.

@zone, Nice babies man...those cola's are SWEET! hows the smell? its gota be great.
Good job, and happy harvest.

*o yea....fishing line is bad news.....damages stems by cutting off hormones, and if the wind does blow hard enough.......i personaly use that cheap hemp for making bracelets and necklaces.

Some strings can hold moisture which can lead to mold, I use plastic tree tape. BTW, nice plant.
