Yeah the Sour Stomper gave a nice weed. Nice aroma and taste too!
Not my best auto though, that was the Fastbuds Pineapple Express, which was extremely complex in aroma and taste.
I'm probably going to be growing both again next to tune in my new grow room. So in about a month ;)
after reading the description now I see why you like that Pineapple Express ;) :fire: :bigjoint:

What do you guys think about utilising this as a fungicide? https://buildasoil.com/products/agsil16h-potassium-silicate
I found this as I was searching the other day, any credence? Its potassium silicate powder & was recommended for foliar for PM. Ive not had PM in a long time here (usually on shows up on squash), but good to know what works

"Also, there is increasing evidence (in the 'straight' horticulture world) to support the use of potassium silicate products as systemic fugicides, instead of as a source of P as they're usually sold in the cannabis community.

Here's some links; http://www.pqcorp.com/products/SilMATRIX.asp
http://www.sarep.ucdavis.edu/Organic...umsilicate.pdf"
Give it a try. I would be interested in seeing it fight PM as seeing it help recover a potassium def.

look's like you can order straight from fastbuds themselves. i wonder if they have a better quality bin selection from them. i dont see why not.

the garden is back and growing. 5gal FKG, 10gal black hen, 10gal mushroom compost, 3gal sphagnum peat, 10gal old soil, azomite, lime, bokashi, bonemeal. that's probably it.

707 truthband i was a little rough on the supercropping so the head is kinda dangling there to the right

countertop food collector. it's coated in probiotics and beneficial white molds to ferment the food and leaves and any other organic solids. it doesnt smelled unless i add too soggy of material. this then goes in my bokashi buckets for a two week fermentation when full. every 5gal of that gets buried into 10-15 gallons of soil with worms and then gets mixed into the chicken manure compost and mushroom compost, biochar and peat, plus trace elements, bokashi, bone meal and lime. (like stated above). The bone meal is for the next plants that get to use this soil. That could be veggies, cactus, trees, whatever.

so the grizzly purple took 80 days from flower or from seed? i have one at week 7... kind hoping i could harvest at the end of march but unless she finishes strong i'm guessing it will be 6 more weeks also have you had a chance to smoke any yet?

The seedbank had recommended 80 days from seed but it has been about 90 and im still seeing the buds swell and seeing new white hairs. It's really filling in the gaps so im not upset with the quality or the extra few weeks it's tacking on the original time. Or maybe it's that much faster in a hydro unit and they adverse that number. Anyway its been about 60-65 days from flower set if that says about where im at. Btw I haven't tried it yet

well dam... looks like i won't be sampling on my april hiking extravaganza. Thanks for the info there wasn't much out there about the strain and it was a freebie so i had low expectations and so far they have exceeded them. i've read where with autos the size and type of pot you plant them in can make a difference in the grow time with autos... this is my first time using the cloth pots... i kinda think it is gonna help them finish a little quicker than 90 days but i guess we'll see. one of these days i'm gonna win the lottery and have a house on the beach and an "orchard" with 10lb trees... one can hope right :)

I have a group of friends that always try to go hiking around that time... usually a 20 mile/2 and half day backpacking trip somewhere in the southeast. not specifically a 420 hike... i guess we would pregame on 4/20 since we would be leaving the next morning. The weather is usually good in these parts... warm enough to make you sweat a little... cool enough at night that you need a long sleeve and the mosquitos aren't swarming just yet.

i transplanted the three gal pot and used soil from the bottom of the barrel. it hot. No biochar in these either. Oh well, it;s just chicken manure so i hope it can turn itself around. but the rest of them look happy in the chicken manure/mushroom/fkg/biochar/sand/bokashi soil dirt stuffderpderp

back two in left and one front right are the transplants.
CIMG4033.JPG

I got a pint of some tropical cubensis mycellium. Also scored some dried caps for free so i made a sterile water solution and shook the caps around in the water until it was loaded with spores. There's no way this was 100% sterile since it came from a stoner's dry stash but heck its free so observing is the LEAST i can do o_O....... i only attempted to inoculate three of the jars using this syringe and i used a spore print of the tropical cubes on the other four jars. gay ass minifridge. CIMG4036.JPG

my attempt at a shotgun fruiting chamber. humidifier is on 1:3 on:off hours right now. im tuning to find a good temp and RH im just eyeballing. The fish pump air pump is on 24/7 for fresh air. any suggestions are welcome. Im aware i could turn this into a glow box and may do so eventually, thatd be neato:joint:CIMG4027.JPG CIMG4028.JPG

Look up the potato agar tek. You can buy dishes of eBay with agar and cling film for under $20. You can do it with stuff from the grocery store if that isn't an option. From there you could take a small amount of your solution and even if it has contaminants, with a little patience and a sterile environment you should be able to indentify and isolate it within a few plate transfers. The only down side is you could spend weeks doing this and then more colonizing your spawn or substrate only to find out your clone doesn't produce fruiting bodies. If you've got time and space try isolating different cultures and increase your odds of finding a good fruit is better. If you get into it and want to produce, then a monoculture is definitely the way to go. Pm me if you ever want to talk Mycology. Sorry for he long winded post. I've been thinking about getting back into it a lot lately and this excited me greatly. Garden looks good. Looking forward to researching that Pineapple Express. I'd love to work an auto into my breeding program and try to find an early flowering pheno tonclone. Stay safe and happy farming.

ok so i sterilized an old grow box and installed 4 pc fans in a series with a piece of carbon filter rubber banded to the face. The air is going into the chamber so i can try and control the flow of air from one cleanable source. there is plexiglass covering the large hole on the right. Instead of perlite as base for the cake im planning on using a 6"x 6" cut of carbon filtration. I was reading on the purpose of the perlite as a high wick-and-release material for the cakes and since carbon filter doesnt seem to expand when saturated im going to give it the benefit of the doubt and trying it. also, i plan on using some light probiotics in this tub to try and create an ecosystem/relationship.

ooo nice, you're getting into shroomery - something I do want to do too someday! :D

And if this is your kombucha - hey it actually looks really nice that way, perhaps you could even get me to try it!
Nothing like the gross muck I've seen at acquaintances' places in the past - which really turned me off the stuff before I ever tried it ;)
Yea I've seen some gross stuff that people actually drank. But I usually speak up and point out where it might be going wrong. Then ill taste it Lol to prove it might be an unhealthy batch. Ughhh but it has to be filtered. Getting a slimy wad in my mouth is not fun.... Lol.

So, im trying to get sustainable in my own food production, so mushrooms are definitely in my diet's desires. Im starting of with cubensis because they were free. If I can prove to myself I can grow out cubes from spore, then ill graduate myself to edibles! Woo

Still out of a grow room?

Ugh yes, I just came here now to get away from the headache I was giving myself trying to plan the room for future extractor fans I may acquire... really?! FML lol
I need to drastically simplify I think!

Aww, so you're not even going to try them? :-P
