never lived close enough to a body of water that would allow. I used to skateboard, mini-ramps, bowls, and half-pipes, so it was a little like surfing...

hellllllll yeaaaaaaaaaa finally a thread about surfing . Moved to cali bout 8 year ago for the marine corps been surfing ever since. Got out was gonna go back to my home state Illinois couldn't leave the waves tho Dont think il be able to for another 8 years. No better feeling the being super back and dropping on a 6 footer ahhh pure ecstasy. Awesome clips btw.

surfing's fun but there's always that one wipeout that stays with you where you honestly think: i might die today....

if that hasn't happened to you yet you haven't surfed enough....

That is one of my favorite parts of body surfing. I love going out on those big days and then getting whipped around like a rag doll by a wave and not knowing when you will be able to get another breath. I always pop up with a smile on my face and head back towards the lineup...though I usually can't hear from all the sand in my ears.
