you will need the full recipe.........you need sixty gallons, or two trash cans......a full batch fills up just over two 32 gal. cans....good luck.

in the end you will save cash for sure.

I was very surprised at first with quality and yield to be honest. Hooked me. wont go back.

every bag of advanced sunshine 4 is 3 cu ft which siri just told me is 22.44 gals. so really id need 3 bags ? cuz thats almost 180 gals of soil using 8 bags of that shit.

the "large bags" in the recipe are 1.5 cubic feet, like roots and ffof.....so 12 c/ft total....you would need 4 bags for a full recipe if using sunshine....i wouldn't go by the dry gal. on the bag...esp. if you are using something like a 5 gal. bucket which holds 5 liquid gal.....if you follow the recipe, a full batch will fill two 32 gal.(liquid) trash cans, plus about 10 extra gals......

I store all of my soil in trash cans (I got like 8 of them I think) when I make my ss I just empty out 2 (or 4) cans of plain soil and mix it up.
