Hey everyone, I'm new to rollitup but not new to growing. This is my legal medical grow; All patients I grow for, including myself, are verified with a doctor's recommendation, ID and previous medical records. Any and all donations receive are used to pay for electricity, water, nutrients, equipment and other costs of maintaining the grow. Cost of all the equipment was about $2,200.:eyesmoke:

Tent: Hydrohut Silver Edition 5x5.
Ventilation: 6" Max Fan inline fan. 2 Air king 6" fans.
Medium: 3 gal Smart pots with Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil.
Air filter: Can 66 carbon filter.
Cooling: 5,000 BTU air conditioner.
Lighting: 2 Magnum 357 LED panels.
Nutrients: Complete House & Garden nutrient line.
Other: Ozone Jr. ozone generator.
 
Plants are a week old and thriving well. The tallest one is about 3 and a half inches. :blsmoke:

yo what up bro like your setup got a similar tent but i only got a 120w for now gonna grab a few spectras soon though. im subbed i would like too see how theses guys turn out.

Thanks for joining curly. Before I bought the magnums I was looking at running 2 or 3 spectra 290's. It was really a tough choice.

ya man i hear ya my buddy just bought a bunch of magnums but i think im gonna go spectra just cause you can get a 290w true watt for the same price you get the magnum which runs at 180w but there are other factors involved but even my buddy sounded a little bummed out after i told him that.

Well, the spectras have different degree lenses. They offer more coverage area but less light penetration. Magnums have more light penetration but less coverage than the spectras. 2 magnums cover 4x4 or 5x5 pretty nicely. 2 spectra 290's can cover a 4x4, 5x5 even a 6x6 I hear, but you need to have them much, much closer than the spectras. It just depends what you need you know? I went with magnums because I want more penetration, but if I ever do a SoG, for sure I'd throw in a spectra or two!

cheers bro i hear ya on this run of mine i did veg plants and 12/12 from seed and i will be doing 12/12 from seed only from now on much faster growth and takes up way less space, i figure i will get 1 huuge nug of of each of the 12/12's probly 10-14 grams maybe more plus little buds too and you can fit 3 12/12 plants for every normal one give or take. considering i vegged for like 4-5 weeks im much more down for 12/12 but also i went from seed on the others too so it takes longer without clones.
 
Today is Day 10. The smallest plant is about 3 or so days younger than the rest.
How are they looking while only using 360w of electricity? :o







I'll try finding a good mobile CFL light so I can take pics without the LED distorting.

Feel free to comment or ask any questions or concerns you have. Oh and, if you're gonna bash on leds don't even bother, I receive enough of that as it is.
 
105 views and no one else is watching the grow? I thought rollitup was bumpin'...

Here is a pic of one day 11 plant under CFL light so you can see how they look when not under the LED.


They are all looking healthy green like this one but the one that is a few days behind looks much smaller than the rest. It looks like its picking up the pace but I'm thinking I have different phenotypes going on..I'm not entirely sure but it is possible. Not bad though, I like variety. ;)
 
yeah bro keep the updates comin people will come post some links on my "led growing is the way of the future thread and the led users unite thread people gotta know to join:)
 
The plants seem to be loving the Magnum panels, even the smallest plant has exploded in growth but it still seems to be the runty one out of the 6.

 
I am very impressed with the panels so far. The nodes are forming very tight and the plants grow pretty darn quick.
 
Alrighty now, coming down to the end of day 16. The small one seems like a runt even though its picking up the speed; its growing much wider than taller :D I still have hope for her though.



Here is to show how healthy they look under different lighting ;) Not sure if you guys can really see, but check out how tight the nodes formed!

I have too, thats why I went with two panels. New ones are coming out in a bit...as well as the new advanced led diamond series. I might give those a look but if these magnums work as well as I hope, I won't need any other lighting for a long, long while.

Lol, I just ordered some of those diamond series from advanced. They look real nice. Should be here within the week. do you have any info you can share about the new magnums?
