Super Lemon Haze, Kushberry, White Widow1000w

whats up RIU, startin up a new growjournal for the new year, also to easier keep track of my current grow..and of course so other people can maybe find answers to some of their growing questions..

seeds were orderd from The Attitude's pick n mix..
Greenhouse seeds: Super Lemon Haze
DNA Genetics: Kushberry
Seedsmen: White widow

Veg. Equipment:
3 20w flourecent (750 lumens per.)
1 1600 lumen CFL (forgot the watts)
6" little desk fan (ventilation)

Flower Equipment:
Secret Jardin Dr150
1000w Hps
6" Vortex Fan (exhaust)
2 Slanley blowers (intake)
Windmachine (room circulation)
DIY carbon filter (smell)
Im using Filthy Rich potting soil with a 3 to 1 perelite mix..gonna be using a light mix of FoxFarm Grow big at week 3 Veg., then when i flower i will use FoxFarm BigBloom and GrowBig, with the Cha-ching and beasty bloom at week 3-4 ..here are some pics of my furtz and some old pics of the seedlings at about a week i think.. in order they are Kushberry, White Widow, Superlemon Haze.. :leaf:

Hell yeah sen! Deff pulling up a chair. I am looking forward to the turn out of your super lemon haze. Thats the next strain I plan on growing once I get sick of my strawberry blue n mazar kush lol. Good luck man everything is looking nice. Im using the same three part foxfarm nutes as well. Working mighty nicely. One Love!

Hey man, I grew the super lemon haze a few grows back. Absolutely amazing strain, but a little bit finickey (Dont know about the spelling, im a little high). But as long as you baby them, and talk to them everyday, they are just fine. Do you plan on Topping, LSTing, or anything like that? what kind of yields are you hoping for with your setup? Im def glad I jumped in when I did. BTW do you have pics of your setup?

right on man, i plan on topping to make clones, and maybe do a little light LSTing, lookin to pull 1-2 oz a plant..ill get some pics up today of my new vegg. set up, and my flower room, thanks for stoppin by things should pick up soon :leaf:

ahhaha..one of the best parts of the movie, but those were like perfect plants in the "el derado grow" makes me want to not top any of my plants for that massive main cola.

alright here are some pics...first is what i clone/vegg. in, just a rubbermaid with aluminum foil, 4 20w flouros..i believe it is about 600 lumens per sq.ft. in there, which i think is good enough just to vegg...then we got the flower room currently holding 3 Red Diesel, 1 Power Africa, and 2 Thai Super Skunk..and im not sure but the lumens per. sq.ft. in there is over 15,000 i believe, lol...big jump i know, but thats the set up, sprouts lookin good, also dunno if i mentioned but i gave the sprouts their first feeding yesterday..i know 2 weeks i a little early but im impatient :bigjoint:

Can't wait to see the difference between my 400 watt Kushberry vs your 1000 watt! How long do you plan on vegging? Right now mine are about 32 days since sprouting...gonna flower in a couple of weeks..hopefully I will start seeing alternating nodes by then...

I was thinking the same thing bout the 1000w vs 400, but I think imma try and vegg atleast 6wks

Ya I almost 5 weeks since sprouting, so about 3.5 veg. I am going to wait until 5 weeks veg or so...it all depends how bushy and tall they get, but optimally I want them to show alternating nodes or sex. If I had a 600 or 1000w I would veg much longer since the light penetration is greater. I am not going to do any training either...just the good ol natural way. I am going to update my journal today with new pics...they have really taken off!

nice bro, your journals always got good bud porn, and yea i think im just gonna wait till they show sex also, that sounds smart since i dont need to rush n harvest for smoke...got plenty :bigjoint:

but here are a couple updated pics..i changed my vegg. box a little bit..added a couple fans and lights and made it light proof..plants are lookin good starting to see a little growth on the inner noded so thats always good :bigjoint:

...pics 1&2 are set up, 3 is group, 4&5 KB, then the WW and the SLH.. :leaf:

Awsome, I just ordered 10 Super Lemon Haze for my next run. I plan to germinate them in about 3 weeks, so you'll have 2 months on me. I can't wait to watch yours grow. I got a bunch of others coming too but I'll save them for my third run.

I didn't want to mix them with other strains because they grow tall and they take 11 weeks to ripen. So Im going to do a 10-pack of all SLH

And maybe 1 little skunk in the corner just for variety

yea i know what you mean about just doin 1 strain to make it easier on yourself, but i like having a variety of smoke for different occasions...after this im gonna have 6 diff. strains at once all different flower times...im curious to see how ill handle it as far as gettin them all what then need and when :joint:
