The Chinese Quantums have come a long way in the past few years however I still find that the ones on Amazon overstate what they are actually able to do. If you look there is a review

I prefer HPS/MH lights over any LED light. But, this light is a close second. My medical grow is flourishing under this full spectrum light. In fact, I recently bought a second 2000w for my other tent. It does put out some heat. My basement is usually about 64f and inside the tent with this light on it is about 75f at canopy. Not horrible hot, but there is some heat.

***Update*** I decided to do a side by side comparison with same strain and different lights. I used 2 of the Maxisun 2000 watt lights at 18 inches from canopy vs 200 watt HPS at 40 inches from canopy. The HPS crushed it. Not even close. Considering the 2 of these Maxisun lights cost more than a single HPS light and use 400watts for the both of them combined. Just go with HPS unless the heat is really a concern.

A good Quantum should outperform a HPS by about 70% so it looks like he is saying this light is crap

I would stay away from them based on that review. A few years ago I bought 6 blurpies on Amazon and thought I was in love until the Quantums and COBs started to come out. I didn't have money so I built one with the help of COBkits (he is on here track him down he is a big help) within a week I threw all the blurpies out and still have all the the original COBs and Quantums I built.

I have used HPS and CMH lights but will prefer the Quantum boards and think you will too.

I have been building a lot from parts on Alibaba and can build a light much better then the Amazon one for about the same price

Good for you that you are having luck. I am just going by some of the Amazon reviews, they look better then the blurpies of the past but still not an HLG or high end LED. Man some of the reviews are real unhappy but some are good so I guess it is hit or miss I just like my Meanwell drivers and Samsung LED chips

Yea they are a knock off of the spider farmer. I just put that link up for the guy cause he was looking at a sunraise blurple. I'm working my way to a 650w set up. The 390w are nice put I want a better spread. Ill post some pics soon.

I love it but I have no idea how it will do in flower. So far, it has done amazing in veg. My plants have doubled in size in 2 weeks.
