Sun Bed Idea

you wanna use a 2000$ tanning bed to veg your plants?
or the type of lights?
running a tanning bed is extremely hot after about 10 minutes, and you will have to protect your eyes with uv goggle cover ups to even go into the room while its on
it also runs on a timer with the max time being 20 minutes usually the bed self shuts off right after the timer is done, and the timer is located on the outside of the bed usually on the middle front.
the bed closes like a human capsule, so you would have to i assume either sit your plants in the room or on the bed itself and shut the top door down like the bed is supposed to be used
which if you some how rewire the timer to stay on 24/0 or whatever you do for vegging you will cook your pots into a nice melting plastic mess and burn the shit out of your plants to be a nice crispy burnt kale like salad.
if you sat the plants in the room you will just be walking in every 20 minutes to set the timer back to 0 all while running a giant electric bill.
tanning beds arent cheap, they are for sun bathing and exposure to intense UV rays for short periods of time not for growing plants.
im not sure what other responses you will get, maybe mine isnt the most scientific plant based opinion. but i was/still am a licensed hairstylist and esthetician for the 5 years and i worked with enough tanning beds to have a reasonable realistic opinion on them,.
