I was in Florida in February. We were sitting in a hot tub with a bunch of people from the States and jibber jabbering. One dude asked where we were from, I said Canada, closer to the US border. He says to his kids "they're from Canada, it's really cold where they come from". I laughed and said that, yes, in the winter it is stupidly cold. Summers are wicked though, anywhere between 90-100. He almost couldn't believe it. It's like the border is some kind of good weather barrier that keeps us in our igloos making hockey pucks out of frozen caribou droppings, something like that.
