Sulfur Burner for treating mites?

I'm running a Sulfur Burner in my flower room for the first 15-20 days of the flowering cycle (don't want that sulfur taste on my buds, that's why only 15-20 days). I had a slight issue with powery mildew on my plants last winter and don't want to deal with again this year, so I'm running a sulfur burner.
I have a veg tent in the same room, but is closed up when the burner is on (only run burner when flowering lights are off). I noticed I have spider mites on my girls in the tent, but no sign of mites on the girls in the flowering room. Is the sulfur burner keeping them at bay? I know a sulfur burner coats everything with a light coating of sulfur, are the mites gone in the flowering room due to this?
Please let me know if this is the case.
Thanks,-\

A friend of min eused a sulfur burner on his flowering plants....killed all his plants, including mothers......hope you're using a different type....

yea i hope the OP isnt running it every day for 15-20 days. If so you are going to have a thick ass layer on your whole room nd every thing in it.
A sulfer burner should be used for between 15-60 minutes once a week, after burning let set in room for up to 4 hours then completly exhaust. the lenght of the burn depeds on room size. I've found that 15 minute is plenty for a room of 8x10.

Maybe I was miss informed....
I was told to run the burner 10-12 hours the first night, then 1-4 hours a night after. The burner is being used in 2 different rooms, 2 nights in the flowering room (11 X 16), then 2 nights in the greenhouse (8 X 10, flowering too). So only 7 nights each.
I will stop using the burner since I'm well coated in sulfur now, and today is day 15.
So I'm guessing the burner is keeping the mites at bay?\
When can I spray Neem Oil for protection against a possible mite infestation?
If anyone has an answer please comment.
