Sulfur Bombing Problems (Again)

So this round of grow has had many issues, but was not able to pinpoint exactly what was the culprit. I am used to hydro, but this time we decided to try soil. MAN I WANT TO GO BACK TO HYDRO ASAP!!!!

It appears that I must be doing something wrong with the sulfur bombing process. Last sulfur the plants showed trauma (Burn, whiteness, curl) right away after the bombing. It took a good 3 weeks to recover it all :(

2 days ago we decided to sulfur again, this time 2 hours and then heavy vent (Air purge) the room after, so there was no residual smell etc. Did the bomb, did the purge, plants were in the normal dark for 6 hours, lights on @ 6:am and no issues. Checked often about every hour, no issues. Then around the 12 hour mark, (6:00pm) I noticed about 20% of the plants were showing a very light discolor on the large leafs. Then by 9:00pm there was heavy burn on about 40% of the plants. I just can't seem to understand what to correct. We were about to begin flowering on Friday, now another setback :(

Any advice would ROCK!
