Suggestions for shortys in DWC?

Im asking everybody to just kinda throw together suggestions on what I should do to keep plants short in a Deep Water Culture setup. All opinions and comments are open, so please let me know what you think.

Id top them and then make sure you have enough high intensity light.Like a 600 watt light or at worse case a 400 watter as less will cause the plants to stretch.Then after you top and they recou Lollipo them to thin the lower stuff and get nice fat top coloas and save room

Alright, I get everything your saying but the part about lollypoping. Can you explain how exactly that's done?

Ive got a 25, 000 Lumen veg. / 30, 000 Lumen flowering flourescent setup. How will that work out? Top and sides of the 2'x2.5'x5' grow area have lots of lights, for all around growth.
