Suggested Feeding Regimen

In anticipation of a first grow, I am trying to develop a feeding regimen and am wondering if folks would be so kind as to share theirs. Now I know there has to be adaptability given unexpected circumstances, but what I'm looking for here is a general, rule of thumb, food sequence by timeframe schedule. Something like a general purpose food after the second set of leaves for X number of weeks, followed by whatever during vegging, followed by whatever else at the beginning of bloom, somethings else mid-bloom, etc., etc. Might be interesting to compare notes for those of you doing this for awhile. Now, for tomatoes, lettuce, and about every other vegetable and many flowers, I'm the man - but this arena is new to me.

Note that my first couple of grows will be a Pro-Mix type of medium , not hydro.

no nutes for the first couple of weeks... most soils have enough to sustain the plant for awhile... then hit them with a 1/4 strength then increase it to about 1/2 after another couple of weeks.... when you start flowerng keep them on the half strength veg nutes but also start with a 1/4 bloom nutes after 2-3 weeks stop the veg nutes and increase the bloom nutes.. then about a week -10 days before harvest stop all nutes and enjoy the smoe...

Dude, all your questions can be answered in one word....."depends"

Depends on how well you mix your medium, depends on your strain.
Start with a really good organic soil and about a 35% mix of peralite mixed in very well, for proper drainage. Start in a small pot, with holes in the bottom.

I like foxfarm nutes in soil, one strain I love to grow, takes nutes full strength in the 1st week, others take a couple of weeks. You need to keep an eye on the leaves. They'll talk to you.
Peace

No prob, getahead.

As you may have guessed, *most* manufacturers of hydro/cannabis-related nutrients have some sort of feeding schedule on their website. It's the way they sell more products! LOL

Nice. And as it turns out, there is a source of FoxFarm about 2 mile from where I work! Gonna be takin' a drive by tomorrow. I have a shelf full of stuff for my veggies, but they have a couple there that look really interesting! Cha Ching!
