I was wondering if part of a 2L Bottle would work fine for growing or would i need to go out and buy some 8" or 10" pots.

Heres what it looks like..

You can grow just fine in that. Obviously, the plant won't get as large, but you can definitely grow in it. There are plenty of people using 16oz containers doing mini SOG.

ok sick. Would i be bad to just transplant them later on?...

My thoughts are you cut the sides of the container, plant in larger pot, fill with soil. Remove the sides of the bottle from the soil.
Right now im kinda in stealth mode but not really since my family knows im growing now. hahahhaaaaaaaaaaa......ah.....(lol I laughed histerically)

The rule of thumb is you need a gallon of soil for every foot. If your plants are going to be around 3 feet tall then they would need a 3 gallon container.
