Is there any one seed that is both extremely low maintenance/easy to grow, and gives riddiculous yields?
I've read a lot into different strains, but havent found any one in particular that seems to stand out as the god of novice seeds.
I'm going to be growing indoors in a 3X3 foot space, about 8ft tall. Using four 4 foot fluoros for veging, and a 400 watt hps for flowering.
Suggested strains, along with suggestions for veging time/light cycle, and flowering light cycles would GREATLY be appreciated.
Hell, I may even be able to give advice one day with all the help I'm getting!

i appreciate the smartass remark of pretty much zero relevance....
they could fit numerous ways. Diagonally would probably make the most sense, but i have a separate area for veging, thats not space confined.

if i wanted it to sound like a smartass remark i would of said "hey dumbass you cant fit a 4ft fluoro in a 3 foot space."

as far as i know there is no super seed's but each have there own traits... so pick out the ones which are most important to you.. i suggest looking into quality go with something high thc( ak nl and ww have good reputations) most plants are relatively the same difficulty just stay away from ones which are ( difficult /advanced) next to growing difficulty if ur looking into more of yeild then go with big bud.. its not the best plant quality wise but its known for its high yeild and is a very good cash crop( although ur only growing one plant so i assume ur not going to sell alot)

time wise i'd say leave it a few weeks veg 3+ weeks atleast keeping into mind that it will grow double the size woll flowering so get it a decent height befor you flower and woll veg = 18/6 light flower 12/12 light and it should tell u how long they flower usally 9-12 weeks..... and the only other thing i might suggest to u... is make a light fixture that would adjust ( height wise) to keep the plants close to ur light source throuout the grow so ur plants dont streach/get scrawny early in the grow

keep in mind i have little to no experience.. im just repeating what ive herd

no experience, but helpful nonetheless.....
as far as growing goes, im most confused by the veg light cycle.
I've read both 24 hours a day, and 18/6, can anyone give me a solid answer on which one is faster/better for the plants?

cush, 18/6 saves a little bit of money (but not anything you'll need to be concerned with if your using fluorescents) but the dark cycle gives the plant a chance to concentrate on strong root growth. it's more like nature that way.

but 24 hrs on is very popular and plants will grow non-stop that way. you decide.

either one is fine... there's not that much a diffrence... like most things in life its just personal preferance when i get my set-up done i will use 18/6 simply for the fact that ive seen more people use that then no stop light----> popularity wins it for me... if it works for them then go with the flow gL man

Edit: so yea the guy above me is pretty much right :)
