Such a thing as too much light?

I have a small closet set up(approx 2.5sq ft). I believe 150w HPS would be enough, but I'd rather upgrade for future grows to 400w HPS. Would 400w be too much for 2.5sqft? 4 plants in a 37gallon rubber maid container aeroponic setup. Thanks in advance.

No you can never have too much light, you could go bigger if you wanted. You will need to maintain the temperature in the room, which will be the hardest part about upping the wattage.

Id go out and buy a 430 watt hps.. It'll work in that space. You'll love it man

Thanks. I was just about to buy the Sun System SS-2 HPS 400w. Who makes a 430w? Or is it just a different bulb?

Only problem would be heat if you can keep the temp down it will be really good for that space I would use lst training also.
