subutex and its opiate blocking duration

i know i shouldnt be posting this even on this website but i need to know. ,....for those of you who know what subutex is, its a medicine for opiate addicts that ive taken for a while now i usually take it IV intsead of sublingually, 34 hours ago i took my subutex (IV ) , for somebody who has experience or knowledge in this area, do you think i could take some percocet and actually feel them?

i know somebody has to have some expereince

I guess the question is, Is the sobutex a opiate blocker?

I don't even know what sobutex is. what mg percs are you taking?

subutex is a brand name for a medication called buperenorphine, it is quite similar to another preparation called suboxone, buprenorphine is a partial opiate antagonist which means it binds to your opiate receptors making it so that a full opiate agonist such as oxyconitin or percocet cannot attcach to the receptors (which means you cannot obtain an opiate high) , after a while the buberenorphine ie subutex will fall off of those receptors then you can get high........... i just have five 5mg percocet, nothin much my weed guy had some of the pills so i grabbed a few

okay i know what suboxone is. if it serves the same purpose then the answer would surely be no.

you just gave yourself the answer brother. On a side note. those 5mg percs have alot of Tylenol in them. crushem, shake in cold water for a few seconds and run it thru a coffee filter. the opiate dissolve much quicker then the Tylenol does. then drink it.

ya i dont know why i asked haha, , it must be my wishful thinking, i should probably just wait another 24 hours to do them that way i know im not gunna waste the percs. hey thanks for the tip with the cold water extraction brother + rep
