Stupid Question About PPMs

Ok so i have a dumb Question.. My Tap water that I use starts out at 250 PPMs. Now if i want to feed at say 800 PPM, do i need to adjust to 1050? I'm sure someone has covered this, but I don't have time to search through the threads, thanks for any help or advice you can give!

No ull burn ur plants that way. You have to account for the mineral and whatever else may be in ur water. So if you want a 800 feed add 550.
