stuck between a pot and a hard ceiling

hey guys..guick question on the topic of flowering...i have a plant that is about 3 weeks into veg and on a 18/6 light schedual..my problem is that i only have around 2 feet of headroom to work with..the plant is around 6 inches tall at the moment...i was wondering if i forced them to flower early how would that affect it...(besides smaller yeild)
 
the space its in now is 2 feet high X 2.5 feet wide X 1 foot deep.. there are actualy 2 plants in there...in gallon buckets(about 10 inch round each)

lucky if he didnt mean that, cuz the w, fits in perfectly.. jking ... im sure he means now.. i allways do no... and then i need to edit.. rofl.... happens to me all the time
