stretching or low yeild?

my plants are at the 37th day of flowering. i use a multi purpose soil fertilizer "Ionic Soil" and seaweed extract.

when looking at other peoples photos of their plants at this stage i can't help but notice that teh plant is so packed with bud that one cannot see the stem. however, my plants have little clumps of bud and then stem and then another clump.

is this because my plant is stretched to much or is it because the plant is just not budding as much bud as it could?

It doesnt look that bad, and your only a little more then half way through flowering, it really packs on in the end...at least it did in my first grow. Good luck and happy gardening!
 
Looks fine to me.
D.r SHAMAN recomends smoking a sh*t load of bud and taking another pic in a week, Then you should see a big differents.
 
fuck yeah! nice one.

i was just a bit worried because what i'd read (FAQs ect) led me to believe that i should flower for 42 days. so i had only 5 days for it to grow fat buds like that.

Looks like a sativa so your gonna flower 9-12 weeks so thats what 56-84 days at leaqst what light do you use at least 400 watt hps?
 
It could take any where from 39days to 90 depends on the strain and your method of growing. A 6 foot plant takes longer to bud than a 2 foot plant. M-39 will bud faster than W.widow or N.lights. I think i budded my S.Cross for ever it was so long I forgot
 
Strain, lights and wayof growing do effect it.The indicas I just grew aero were harvested at 38 days and the the lower hidden stuff was on a second harvest at 52 days so it will vary .
 
she got to close to the light so she was a little fluffy but it was WELL worth the wait.

yeah 400 watts. i'm a bit worried actually because i only have a foot left of space (upwards) so i'm just hopping it doesnt grow to much before harvest.

is 1 of my fears even though im using cfl's. shes still slowing reaching upward and is 5ft tall or so
