Hi!
I searched old trimming posts for days on this web site and others. Read every page. Saw some good tips.
Like setting up monofilament fishing line for hanging.
Wet vs dry guard leaf removal, etc.
I am still searching for an effective way to remove the fan leaves (the one's that are not resin producing)
Please share your approach to removing fan leaves that push out from dense flower clusters.
In the past, in less dense flowers with less resin I have handled the bud and "bent it open" to expose the petiole of a fan leaf. However, on this harvest there is so much trichome production and more densely packed flowers that I think I would mangle and smush the dank. Am I over thinking it?
I'd like to see a video of this being done right. (like for the purposes of cannabis cup competition)
Tho, unlike a cannabis cup, I will leave the guard leaves on (for the dry) because they are super sticky and part of the experience for this cultivar.
thanks for any advice!
